A new start

Being a fan of HP Calculators came early for me. My father started with an HP-25 that he used for his work, and I would play NIM and Moonlander on it. Later, he upgraded to the HP-41 series, which has an excellent card reader and printer. “Hunt the Wumpus” then became my favorite. A few years ago, I found my HP-41CV, which I had bought in the 80s, and started collecting HP Calculators. Being of the tinkering persuasion, I also began buying and fixing broken machines. I also dabbled in 3D printing and electronics, so I soon combined the three hobbies. I first built all the items in my shop for personal use, only to find that others may also benefit.

I started selling my items on eBay. However, I’m not convinced this platform is the best place for them. Certainly, now that the volume of sales has increased I will need to run it more as a (very small) business instead of a hobby.
